TRACK PACKAGING: The track is coiled, so to straighten it, weigh it down with heavy objects (about 1 meter apart) for 24-48 hours.

TOOLS REQUIRED: Before installation, measure the desired length with a tape measure and use a hacksaw to cut the track down to size if it is longer than needed. An electric drill and a 1/4" drill bit are required for installation, as well as a Phillips screwdriver.

WALL MOUNTING: Yes, you can mount the track on a wall, but you'll need to buy wall brackets from Amazon, as the accessories provided are for ceiling mount only.

WEIGHT CAPACITY: The maximum weight capacity is 33 lbs.

ADVANTAGES OF SCREWED END CAPS: The Screwed end caps are easier to install and remove than Snap-on end caps, and more secure, ensuring they do not fall off.

SLOPED CEILING INSTALLATION: Unfortunately, the track is not suitable for installation on a sloped ceiling, as it is only flexible laterally, not vertically.

DROP CEILING INSTALLATION: Yes, you can install the track on a drop ceiling by opening up the piece of ceiling brick next to it, so you can hand-secure it where you plan to install the track, to prevent the ceiling from moving up as you drill the holes. Once the brackets are screwed in, you can install the track as described, or at the grating of the drop ceiling.

OUTDOOR INSTALLATION: Yes, the track can be installed in outdoor places such as porches or garden pavilions, as it is made of waterproof PVC. However, it's best not to install it in direct sunlight, as that will accelerate the aging of the plastic.

COMBINING TRACKS: It's not recommended to combine the tracks, as the rollers will not roll smoothly at the joints. If you don't mind that, you can install two tracks continuously, but the rollers will not travel from one track to the next.
